Hungarian newbie László Nagy has joined Equipe 44 as a stagiaire. The 24-year-old impressed team manager Toni over the last few weeks with some good results in local amateur races and the Sammarinese team leader decided to hire him for a 1-month training programme. "We believe László has a lot of potential. In about 3 seasons he will be an amazing rider." - Toni said. "We're still unsure about which one is the best path for him, he can develop as either a sprinter or a time trialist". However, Equipe 44 might not be Nagy's team for next season. "He is a stagiaire. He'll do a few races with us for now and at the start of the next season we will see if he will stay with us. We may not have the money to train him, or a good offer from another team may come up."
On the other hand, rumors have emerged that veteran Peter-Jan Lannoye may be leaving the team. "I can't say anything about it." - replied the Sammarinese manager.
